Paul Bratby

Turning complex strategies into clear, repeatable systems, and helping traders treat the markets as a business, not a gamble.

Paul Bratby's journey took him from a 17-year-old apprentice in the British Army to a full-time trader and the founder of Global Trading Software. The discipline he developed early on still drives his approach today: rules first, emotion last.

Along the way, Paul discovered a natural ability to recognise behavioural patterns and apply them to the financial markets, an insight that ultimately shaped his entire methodology. In 2013, he shifted his focus to simplifying complex strategies into clear, visual tools that traders of all levels can use, guided by a belief in discipline and rational decision-making.

Today he builds the xBrat suite of confluence-based indicators, the StocksPredator scanner, and the xBratAI signal app, tools used by traders across futures, forex, and crypto. He's also the author of Confluence Not Coincidence, written during summers in Spain with his wife Dee while based in Dubai, a book that reflects both his experience and his passion for helping others trade with confidence.
